On top of being the Owner and Director of JGM Science Tutors, Matt is also known as The Rapping Science Teacher! 

 

After multiple viral videos, an acclaimed freestyle on BBC 1Xtra, and getting picked by Will.i.am on ITV's The Voice UK, Matt is now a mainstay on TV and Radio and uses his skills to educate and entertain millions of students through the art of rap.  Matt creates one minute long GCSE science rap videos once a week with subjects ranging from Respiration to Electrolysis teamed with soundtracks from Central Cee, Stromzy , Skepta, and Dave.

 

Matt, who is a father of three from North London, started his career with a bachelor's degree from Kent University, and then a masters degree from Imperial College London. Prior to running JGM full time, Matt was a Head of Department in Bushey Meads School. JGM began in 2017 and now has over 80 fully qualified tutors, providing science tuition to over 300 students a week across the UK, New Zealand and Dubai.

 

Matt continues to run JGM Science Tutors whilst creating on social media, and says his ambition is to help as many students as possible excel in science.
